Raised the daughter of a University of Michigan professor, the importance of anything spiritual or religious in her life ebbed and flowed, but it did begin Unitarian. After Juilliard, she was a college dance educator for 12 years, NYC professional studio teacher/dancer for ten years; then in middle age, she and Bob moved to a farm in Pennsylvania, where he grew 250 acres of Christmas trees and Constance dove deeply into herbs — with a business, garden, teaching, and then thirteen years as a Clinical Herbalist. Her thirty years as a Friend began there, where Quakers settled in America. She and Bob have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. The Millers joined UUCJ as friends in 2018.
