Speaker Bio: Peggie Weeks

Peggie Weeks has lived in Fernandina Beach with husband Steve Crounse since 2011. She has worked as a process engineer, community college professor, and program officer with the National Science Foundation. She currently serves as an evaluator with the NSF funded DeafTEC Resource Center, whose mission is to increase the number of deaf and hard-of-hearing (deaf/hh) individuals in highly skilled STEM technician jobs where they are currently underrepresented and underutilized. She also serves as a mentor to community colleges that seek NSF funding.
