Our music team at UUCJ is one fantastic group of musicians, however it is a small one and getting smaller.  Jeanne Huebner who so beautifully filled many vital roles within the music group, including pianist, has temporarily had to step down. Sharon Scholl has been doing an amazing job as our primary accompanist, however a backup pianist or more are sorely needed to put some flexibility and peace of mind into the program.     What a blessing it is…

Jay Huebner fell on September 10, 2021 and was diagnosed with a cracked lumbar vertebra. He is being treated with physical therapy at home. Their son, Jerold is visiting from New York through September 30. Healing energy goes out to Jay for his recovery.

Florie Adiutori started a new course of chemotherapy on September 22, 2021. Healing energy and support go out to her and Joe. Robert Prager’s friend underwent successful brain surgery last week. Best wishes go out to him for a full recovery.

David Johnson writes that he is continuing to recover at home from tongue reconstruction surgery and will forgo any radiation treatment based on his doctor’s revised recommendation.

Sharon Scholl’s nephew, Randy Henderson, died last week of Covid. A small memorial service for the family was held locally on Friday morning. Condolences go out to Sharon and her family. Sam Klein. Florie Adiutori is home from her recent hospitalization at Mayo. Cards with healing thoughts would be appreciated. Carlos Fraticelli, Barbara Robinson and Susanne Mckelvey are the proud great-grandparents of Grayson Carter McGovern, born at 6:18 pm on August 7, 2021. Mother, Savannah Adams, father, Ryan McGovern and Grayson are all doing well. Congratulations to Savannah and Ryan.

Ehren Noelle Black, daughter of UUCJ member Sallie Pickard, died July 23, 2021. She was first treated for a brain tumor in 2006 and enjoyed a longer life than anyone expected. She will be greatly missed by friends and family, especially her daughter, Parker.

Joe Adiutori was admitted to Mayo through the ER on June 16, 2021. He had surgery for a bowel obstruction and he was discharged home on June 19, 2021 in time for Father’s Day. Please send him healing energy. Leisla Sansom’s friend, Dick, is scheduled to come home from Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital on July 23, 2021. He will continue to receive therapy from Brooks at home. Leisla appreciates the help and concern of her UUCJ friends.

Lynne Walling, daughter of Stuart Walling and step-daughter of Donna Janesky, died last week at the age of 62, from colon cancer. She was a brilliant Phd Number Theorist who taught at the University of Bristol, England, and lectured all over the world. She was loved by many, as evidenced by the friends and neighbors who lovingly cared for her in her final days. Stuart is grateful he got to spend her final week with her.
