The Finance Committee needs volunteers to help manage UUCJ financial resources to fulfill our church mission as we welcome our new full-time minister, Rev. Lee Anne Washington. Our committee oversees financial procedures, recommends policy changes, recommends an annual Mission Budget from pledges and committee requests, and tracks actual income and expenses. A huge thank you to our wonderful Worship Associates for March:  Penny Reid, Nancy Murrey-Settle, Blanche Williams, and Meg Rohal.  We have a dedicated cohort of WA’s, but could use a few more to add to the list.  This is a great way to serve UUCJ occasionally, and it’s interesting and fun.  We’ll provide you with training, resources—and even a script!  If you’re interested, or just have questions, please contact Penny Reid at .

Our Membership Committee is in need of a new chair. The Membership Committee is vital to growing our UUCJ community—they serve as a friendly face to new visitors and provide them with information on UUCJ and how to become members. They guide people through the membership process and help them become more involved with UUCJ once they join.  While we are still hosting virtual services and events, Membership is not hosting their monthly Path to Membership Q&A groups—at this time…
