Chalice Circles, also called Covenant Groups, are small circles of UU members who gather monthly, usually with a potluck supper and discussion of topics related to personal spiritual development. A dozen participants is usually the limit of what can be effective companionship over a period of time.  The focus is not upon the world in general but the world inside us and what we need to thrive as whole people. There is not a rigid curriculum, but resources for thought are drawn from the UU Soul Matters material, the Worship Web, or significant writings on spiritual topics.
