Another Kind of Christmas

“Another Kind of Christmas.” That’s what our annual choir program promises for this Sunday. We’ll celebrate Jesus, the man his family and friends knew, the wandering prophet-healer who shared his vision of a society based on compassion. Please join us for this occasion, beginning with duo pianists Jeanne Huebner and Sharon Scholl in a program of carol arrangements for our mini-concert at 10:45.  The choral program, directed by Rob McKennon, is part of the Sunday worship service.

This Sunday our special collection for December will be for Arlington Community Services.  UUCJ has been a steadfast supporter of ACS with our weekly gifts of food and supplies. But they also need funds to assist families in crisis.  In addition to operating the food pantry and thrift store/clothing closet, they also provide transportation and may assist income qualified residents with housing expenses ranging from rent to utility bills. Clients range from senior citizens on a fixed income to the underemployed as well as disabled.  Please consider how your donation can make a difference in the life of our Arlington neighbors.
